JeeMin Kim’s works, stemming from a haunting sense of nostalgia for lost civilizations, evokes desires for ancient emotions not directly experienced. Constantly tracing this ambiguous form and origin, Kim explores intersections of history, mythology, language, and more derived from various nations. Through the Prototype Temple series, which combines multinational classics, Kim reimagines 19th-century archaeology from a new perspective, creating theatrical installation works that reproduce these intersections.

Area Park has long been interested in the relationship between the individual and the city as a social system, as demonstrated in his works. In his works, which resemble documentary photography in terms of subject matter and technique, Park revealed and questioned the absurdity of hidden sides of Korean society. Now living in Japan, Park has spent the last several years documenting the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear meltdown through his photography.

OkHyun Ahn lives and works in Seoul. She earned her MFA in Photography, Video, and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Working primarily in photography and video, Ahn not only explores the complex aspects of human emotions, including love, but also exposes the banal layers underneath consciousness as absurd.
