이재욱 작가는 동시대 사회, 문화 그리고 그 속에서 보여지는 인간 정체성에 관심을 가지고 사진 매체를 통해 이를 재해석, 표현하는 작업을 하고 있다. 그는 이러한 행위를 통해 불합리에 대응하고 우리가 앞으로 나아갈 길을 모색한다.  

Jaeuk Lee explores contemporary society, culture, and the human identity revealed within them, reinterpreting and expressing these themes through the medium of photography. Through this practice, he responds to societal irrationalities and seeks pathways for how we might move forward.
